Re: Reynolds Arkansas Brigade - Peachtree Creek

Damon --

Any specifics from the book (other than the report submitted by Reynolds) on Peach Tree Creek? Federal reports (1st Division, XIV Corps) mention two strong attempts to force their position just west of Howells Mill Road. Knipe (XX Corps) had to call for help and mentions a gap that existed between McCook's Brigade (1st Division, XIV Brigade) and his own. Reynolds mentions penetration of Federal lines on the left, which conforms to language in the XIV Corps reports. Still seems like a great deal for such a small brigade to have attempted.

I'm aware of the action involving the Arkansas brigade along Peachtree Creek a day earlier.
