I just read this in the book By John C. Hammock..."With Honor Untarnished" but I cant remember where the election occurred. I know it said Flournoy accepted the results with no argument. I know that it also said that one of the companies (and I am paraphrasing from what I read) posted their ballots and sent them on to wherever the election was occurring so it most likely would have been official at Memphis while some were enroute but if you don't have access to that book I will try to remember to go back and look at it and provide you that info.
