Re: Fulton, AR earthworks site of CSA Camp Reed...

Hi Anthony and Bryan -

I dimly remember this Arkadelphia area (#2 commanded by Capt. Reed) as a possibility for Camp Reed from out earlier interactions, but I don't remember seeing this document written by Trader/his staff....????

Questions that may help us sort through things.....

(1) Was this post large enough to have held Federal prisoners?
(2) Was this post near a body of water that a flatboat could have been used on?
(3) Was the O.R. supplement the source for this doc. written by Trader/his staff?
(4) Was this Arkadelphia post still under CSA control during the Winter of 1864-1865?
(5) Is there any documentation re guards at this post having been captured by Federals sometime after the Winter of 1864-1865?

Trying to get some clues from family oral history/stories that may help us out some. Was real lucky with the Boggs Mill documentation, etc.

thanks guys,

Ken
