Fulton, AR earthworks site of CSA Camp Reed....??

Hi all -

recently read about the earthworks near Fulton, AR being endangered by a new road, etc. Am still (!!!!!) searching for the location of the elusive CSA Camp Reed and the Fulton earthworks were one of the postulated sites, etc.

As per info at: http://11arkansas.com/yank/joe_bishop.htm ............

Microfilm documents in the Herndon Supplement of Arkansas CSA Soldiers stored at the Arkansas History Commission in Little Rock, Arkansas list both Joseph L. Bishop and William P. Bishop as being "guards at Camp Reed during the Winter of 1864-65"

Was just hoping someone may have ran across some docs confirming Camp Reed location recently. The other idea was that it may have been somewhere south of Dardanelle and not too far from the Arkansas River or one of its tributaries...(??).

thanks,

Kenneth Byrd
