The 33rd Arkansas was in a "camp near Little Rock" from February to May 1863. It was not engaged in any actions during this period.

I have a notation in my Confederate database that a genealogical researcher claimed that Pvt. James Arthur McConnell was interred in Sims Cemetery in Montgomery County. This information came to me third-hand; I don't know the original source.
