location of co i, 33rd inf. mar 1863

I'm looking for anyone who can tell me where Co I, 33rd INF. was in march 1863. My gr gr grandfather James Oliver McConnell was supposed to be killed at that time somewhere around little rock. His body was returned to sims, near Mt. Ida. They were going to bury him in Mt. Ida but the river was flooded and they supposedly buried him in sims. I cannot find his gravesite. I can assume that if he was brought back, it was members of his unit, family, friends, and neighbors that did it. They would have also brought back the news of the war to sims. In march1863 the yankee army was advanceing in two directions from Ft. Smith and Arkansas post. I suspect his grave could have been hidden, to protect it from the advanceing enemy armies. Any ideas?
