Judy, My Grandfather was John Thomas Shoptaw my Dad was Bill Shoptaw from Russellville,AR.. I have a copy of the Actual Death Certificate my cousin John got this copy from the original and Date of Death was Oct 15 1863 in Columbus, MS and John Wycliff Shoptaw is buried at the Friendship Cemetery. His grave is located in Riley Lot #696. On Sept 11 we are going to Gulf Shores, AL for Vacation and on the way back we will be going thru there and I will find it and take pictures and send them to you if you would like.
