Yes, I guess I did misunderstand your previous email. Sorry about that. I will definitely go back and compare the two diaries, entry for entry, and give you a report. I know as the war progressed Lesueur's diary entries got pretty sparse while Waller seems to have had more to say. I don't have the documents in front of me but as best as I can recall Lesueur's entries stop in November of 1864 while Waller's continue until the war's end. As many times as I've looked at them I never noticed any similarities in the entries, but then again lately I have been focusing on late war events and haven't paid as much attention to pre-1863 happenings. Interesting. I'm glad you brought that to my attention.
