Yes, but it seems there are some gaps. I know his father, James joined with him the same time in 1861,then was discharged a few months later due to his being 50 yrs. old. On the follow up records it showed he and Thomas Jefferson Bright joined the 11th Ala. Cav.I don't know what to use. When Thomas Jefferson Bright passed away it mentioned several long quotes from him abt. events of the war that he saw. I know he has a confederate military grave marker. Thanks for your help. Lynn
