Thanks Mr. Pitts. I had a 2xs great grandfather, Thomas Jefferson Bright who was originally in the 26-50th Ala. Inf.(joined at the age of 15), and later transferred to the 11th Ala. Cav. In an old statement from him, he mentioned he was captured at the battle of Franklin,TN. and later had escaped. I was trying to find out which unit he would have been in at that time. Lynn
