I am looking for a George Rodgers who was killed or captured at Wilderness. I posted this before and I think someone said he was in the 5th AL (misplaced the info.) I don't recall which company. Also does anyone know which companies of the 5th Regiment Alabama Infantry were raised in Pickens county? I actually think this man was from Bigbee Valley, MS and perhaps joind a company across the Tombigbee. I have records of my family doing business stuff on both sides of the river.

Also looking for any information on the corps of sharpshooters in Rode's Alabama Brigade commanded by Maj. Eugene Blackford. I need any organizational information, letters, diaries etc.
