Hey there y'all,
Does anybody know what happened to the claims that were
filed for the effects of a deceased soldier by an attorney
or next of kin? They must have existed when the Compiled
Service Records were compiled. Have they ever been micro-
filmed?
On another subject: My husband's ggrandfather has on his
cards the words "Special Order in Effect to this Man". Are
these special orders still extant and are they retrievable?
