Vails of Pickens County
Thu Jul 19 13:01:28 2001
Yes, I am more than just a little aware of this family! I have been trying to help Tom Scott, Southern Regional Support Coordinator of the American Indian Movement of Florida to prove this story true.
I was not aware of the information at this site, and I appreciate your passing it along. And, I in turn will pass it to Tom. I'm sure that he will want to contact that branch of the family for more information!
Most of these Vails served in the 5th Alabama Infantry REGIMENT in Companies Old C, New H, and E. [There we go on the 5th Ala. again!]
The 5th Alabama fun never stops! n/m
