Hi,

Thanks much for the offer! Finding him on censuses has been a real trick. The only place we can really be certain he was is in Bienville Parrish, La. where he died. The family stories mostly say he came from Alabama but we've been unable to prove this with records. My personal theory is that he came from Oklahoma.
