I don't know if rosters exist but the men who worked these caves would have worked under the Confederate Nitre and Mining Bureau. There is a site about the Augusta Powder Works that gives some information about the operations in these caves at:

Alan Pitts what information do you have on the Nitre and Mining Bureau? Would these men have been enrolled in the CS Army? If so would they have been detailed from regular units?
