Another guess would be Russell's 4th Cavalry. Then there's Young's Company of the Nitre and Mining Bureau from Jackson County, organized in Dec. 26, 1862, at Larkinsville. Would that have been too far away (12-15 miles)? What about A. H. Lan[g]ham's "Estill Fork Guards"? Perhaps someone knows about that company; it's not in my repertoire. Thanks for the response!
