Thanks Homer. I really appreciate your quick response. I knew there were two William McElroy's,I have records for both.My husbands Great Grand Father enlisted 10 March 1861 Bibb Co. Alabama,Company B. 44th.Ala. Regt.remained with the company until April 9, 1865.
