My data base shows only one Pleasant McBride, and he has a middle initial of B. and is with an Arkansas unit. Only one one other soldier with a first name starting with a P (Partick) was form Al. No data base is complete and mine is no exception. It is possible that it is just not in the one I have.

I do find a John K. McBride with Co. C of the 9 Al Inf. he entered the was a 1st Sergeant and was discharged as 1st Lt. His National Archives Box, Roll and Number is 000374, 0029, 00000386
