Thanks for the response to my questions. My great grandfather was in Company G. How can I find out something about the activities of that unit? Or better yet a roster?
Are there records of the hospital in Marietta?
I understand that people moved around a lot, but I had noticed that Bibb county was not listed as being part of the 24th Alabama Infantry and wondered why he would pick it.
Was there something unique about that unit?
