Sorry, I was thinking of a different post. I see now that the name is not Cheatwood, but Daniels if I remember, or at least one other than your name. Figured I would lose this text if I didn't open another window and tried to go back and look. My father's namesake was in their brigade after the reorganization of early 63. He was in Co. F 44th Al. He started out in Rans Wright's Brigade of Anderson's Division. You know, I guess, your Daniel relative was in Taliaferro's Brigade of Jackson's Division, initially, if he came in July of 62'. My gggrandfather's older brother, Morgan was killed Aug 9th at Cedar Run. Their younger brother was with them and died of typhoid in Richmond the following December, but was present for duty at Antietam.
