My g-g-grandfather was Private George Washington McDaniel, Co. G, 48th Alabama Infantry. He joined in 1861 and was killed August 16, 1864 at Fussell's Mill (2nd Battle of Deep Bottom), Virginia. It is part of the Pettersburg Battlefield. Someone suggested for me to try Hollywood Cemetery. There is also a big cemetery called Blansford Church. There was a lot of men buried there. I am just shooting in the dark trying to find where all the men who were killed in that battle got buried. Sometimes they end up in a marked grave instead of a mass grave.Thanks Robert
