OK, McDaniel. I got it right that time. What were his dates of service? Grandpaw was wounded and captured at the Wilderness, May 6, 64'. He was present for duty at Gettysburg, on the original muster roles of the 48th, in Montgomery. You might want to ride down there if you have not already.
