Enlisted 4/18/61 Greensboro, AL by Allen C. Jones 1 year.Captured 9/14/62 South Mtn sent to Ft Delaware. 10/2/62 to Aiken Landing, VA for exchange. Wounded 5/2/63. Captured again 4/2/65 at Petersburg, VA sent to City Point, VA as POW. Released 6/16/65 on Oath of Allegiance 6/16/65. Residence Greensboro, AL , complesion light, Hair brown, Eyes grey, Height 5ft 9 and 3/4 inches. He was also int the hospital and wound was described but I could not decipher as I did not have my magnifying glass. Also pay records are in the file as well as uniform issue. This is from Compiled Records. There was also an R. T. Price however I did not look at his records.
