There was also a Camp of Instruction at Tuscaloosa. I'm not sure that it existed throughout the war, though. This camp *may* have been Camp Noland or Camp Tuscaloosa, I have seen references to both of these, but have been unable to firmly establish that they are the same as the Camp of Instruction at Tuscaloosa.

These camps are sometimes referred to as "Conscript Camp" by the veterans in the 1907 Confederate Veteran's Census.
