I'm from Pickens Co., but now living in Birmingham.

It would not be unusual to find Pickens Co. men in a company raised in one of Pickens' next door neighbor counties like Sumter. I have just not been able to find any evidence of which (if any) of the men were from Pickens Co. I hope you can help shed some light on this.
