MY ggfather Samual M. Adams was from Pickins Co. but joined the 12th AL, Company K, in another county, unknown which one. He fought in O'Neil's brigade, Rodes' division of the ANV up until Gettysburg where he lost an arm and came home to AL near Tom Bigby River. Samuel moved to Texas and died in Richmond, TX in 1896.
