US Servicemen?

Friends:
Our own beloved Hayes Lowe posted a message on the MS
WBTS Message Board that says that in 1906 and 1929 laws were
passed designating Confederate soldiers as US Servicemen as
well. That is the basis of our being able to get from the
Veteran's Administration markers for our Confederate dead.
Let us pester Hayes until he tells us where he saw those laws.
