Many thanks George, we may never determine where J.J. finally died and was buried. The irony is he spent most of his enlistment home sick, only to return to his unit to die from wounds recieved at Piedmont. One copy of the Jones Family Bible indicates he lasted another month after the battle, dieing on 5 Jul 1864.
