Looking for service and place of death info on Jonathan J. Jones (1828 - 1864) from Greenbrier Co., Virginia. May have been with the 60th Regt, Virginia Inf (3rd Regt, Wise Legion) as they list a JJ Jones on the enlistment roll. He was wounded at Battle of Piedmont (from Family Bible) and died a month later, but no one seems to know where. Was he in Confederate field hospital or one of the POW/MIA from the battle. Thanks for any info that can be found, he's my GGGrandfather on Mom's side.
