Bill have been researching my G-Great Grandfather, Joseph William Bott. According to information he survived the war and lived in WV. He was in the 42nd Infantry Regiment, Co. E, Dixie Grays. He was wounded at some point and lost the use of his left arm. He started to receive a disability pention from Va. in 1896. for $15.00 a year. He died in 1921.
