Would like more info on Archibald McCarroll joined 31st Virginia Militia May 1861. I think this unit became the company A, 5th regiment in the Stonewall brigade. Other family members think he was asigned to the woolen mills near Harpers Ferry, and was a wagon driver to supply the confederacy with cloth but cannot confirm this. ANy help will be appreciated.
