I appreciate everyone's help with this. I find the record of Benjamin's death interesting, as he survived the war and died in Dinwiddie 25 July 1925. I was searching Dinwiddie County records trying to locate an old family cemetery where another confederate ancestor is buried when I came across a mention of a cemetery where a son of that ancestor was buried. On further research, I came across information on another cemetery with the tombstone inscription for Benjamin Andrews. If anyone locates any record of him in the Navy, please let me know.
