John Elliot Walker Mosby's Rangers

I am looking for any information on John Elliot Waler who is supposed to have served in Mosby's Rangers in 1865. He was born in Virginia in 1850 (location unkn) and would have only been 15 yrs. old. After the war (year unkn) he went to Arizona where he was elected sheriff of Maricopa County (Phoenix, Scottsdale, Mesa, Tempe)in 1905. He ended his own life in 1906. In his obituary, it says that at age 15, he served with Mosby's Rangers. No record of his service has been found. A number of Walkers are listed on rosters of Mosbys troopers, and with his young age, it is thought one may have been a relative. SCV Col. Sherod Hunter Camp, 1525 has located his grave (unmarked) and if his service can be authenticated, we will place the appropriate headstone on it. Thank you,
