I have a "Letter" sign By E. Martin, Capt. B 20th Reg. VA Cav. dated April 13, 1865 @ the Appomattox Court House. It reads: "The bearer J. M. Allton, private Co. B 20th Regt of the Calvary a Paroled prisoner of the army of Northern Virginia has permission to go to his home and there remain undisturbed."

What do I have??
