In Response To: CSA Soldier Medals ()

Their names are Edward W. Malone, 3d Co. B, 59th Virginia Inf,. Regt. Aug62 to Jun65. and George Blackwell Malone, Co. I, 13th Regt. Miss. Vol, May61 to June65. I have some Mil records from the VA achieves but nothing that talks of medal that I saw. Both boys are from VA but Geo. was working in Miss. at the time of enlistment. What am I missing. Thanks

I'm not much of a computer guy so my wife will have to put a pic as attachment but she is not avail. until Friday if you can wait that long. Here is what they look like to me. #1 is round like a silver dollar and has a multi colored ribbon hanging from it. #2 looks much like ribbons of today, cloth or metal pin-on ribbon with a round silver dollar like object hanging from it. #3 has a cloth or metal pin-on and has what looks like a square metal thing with the corners cut off. Looks much like the marksmanship medal of today. The pic. is so old that its easy to see they are ribbons but hard to get too specific description. Hope this is enough to go on. Thanks.
