The Georgia section reords an O/L/? D. Carter. This could be him as translational errors occur in many
of these old ink written documents.

The H. B. Carter listed in the Virginia section could well be:

Hilleary P. Carter

Residence was not listed;
Enlisted on 5/13/1861 at Culpeper Court House, VA as a Private.
On 5/13/1861 he mustered into "H" Co. VA 7th Infantry
He died of wounds on 8/11/1861 at [General Hospital] Culpeper Court House, VA [Gun shot wound]
He was listed as:
* Wounded 7/21/1861 Manassas, VA
Other Information:
Buried: Culpeper City Cemetery, VA
