Uniform issue is not normally found in the National Archives records. If there is information the uniform is not described. Confederate uniforms changed over the duration of the war. Since he was in the ANV he would have been drawing from the Richmond clothing depot. and would have received what every other soldier in the ANV was getting. Suggest you read the following.
