A number of Company Rosters for Texas State Troops can be found at the Texas State Archives. They have been digitized and can be downloaded. I found one for my ancestor in Co G, 1st Rgt, 2nd Brigade dated April 1864. It provides a considerable amount of info. This was his second 6 month enlistment. His first hitch was in Co A, 4th Regiment, 28th Brigade. Not all rosters are found, but you may get lucky and find what you are looking for.
