The history on the NPS link is not 100% accurate, but a very kind gesture on your part. I can not say how much you are worthy of extra praise for your attempts to help me and others on this message board.
Likens' 35th was with Bee and Bagby's Brigades but also with other brigades and what was left ended its service at Galveston.
In the Ashbel Smith papers at UT there are some captivating stories of the men in the 35th during the final days.
Do you know where any of the Brigade Order books might be located?
