Taylor, recorded on the April, 1865 Regimental Return, as Nurse at Alex. Hospital, June 2, 1864, Dist. So. No. 2, no further records

The 18th (also known as Ochiltree's) Regiment Texas Infantry, with eleven companies, A to L, completed its organization by the election of field officer May 13, 1862. Captain McKnight's Company I, was transferred to the 14th Regiment Texas Infantry some time prior to October 31, 1862, and became (1st) Company K of that organization.
