Had a great time and a discovery. Went to Mansfield and Pleasant Hill Battlegrounds this past weekend and found the personell at the Mansfield museum very helpful and knowledgable. I went to try to learn more of my ancestors who were at this battle. I also located the grave of my GGG Uncle of the 1st Texas Infantry in an abandoned cemetery on the FT. Polk Artillery Range which is accessible when not in use. I plan on showing family members where it is located and do our best to keep it up.
