Hello. I have an ancestor - John T. Melton who served in Co. E, 22nd Texas Cavalry Regiment along with his brother; D.L Melton I know nothing of their service except that they served in five different states until the end of the war.
Could someone please give me information on their service records? And the history of Company E?
Any information would be great.
