The 7th Texas Infantry was also called Gregg's Regiment. Goggle,7th Texas Infantry. There are about 12 cards for Wesley A Stone in his records. Appears to have enlisted in Capt Davis' Company, Texas Vol. Inf. which became part of the 7th. at Marshall,Tx in 1861, Home was Rusk, Cherokee County, Texas. I could not find any Stone's in the 1860 census of Cherokee County but it seem a lot of houses where left out in some beats.
