Searching for any information on Gideon Choate (sometimes spelled Choat) (1839-1911) Company B, 24th (Maney's) Tennessee Sharpshooters Battalion of Infantry. He was from Humphries County, TN and moved to Trigg County, KY after the war. I am looking for any information on his service record and rank. Any help is greatly appreciated.
