Andrew J. Lacey, Bvt. 2nd Lt., Company C, 8th Regiment Tennessee Cavalry,* enlisted August 2, 1862 at Cookeville by Col. G. G. Dibrell for the war, paid $225, value of his horse, killed at Parkers Crossroads, and equipments, resigned July 1, 1863

Note: His letter of resignation and endorsement are too faint to read on-line.

* This regiment was organized as Partisan Rangers in September, 1862, with 12 companies, and was remustered as cavalry in October, 1862 and consolidated into ten companies. It was officially designated the 13th Regiment Tennessee Cavalry, but was mustered in the field for a while as the 8th Regiment Tennessee Cavalry, and as Dibrell's Regiment Tennessee Cavalry
