May 27/29, 1863, sent from Carthage, Tenn. to Gallatin, Tenn., June 16, 1863, discharged to Camp Chase, Ohio prison camp June 29, transferred to Ft. Delaware prison camp July 14, 1863, died of Small Pox, October 30, 1863

* This regiment was later designated the 8th Regiment Tennessee Cavalry
