I am trying to gain any information on Mr.James Allen Bone who was born in Woods Valley, Dickson Co., TN., in 1834. He was the eldest son of Mr.William Elijah Bone. James Allen Bone died in 1864 in Illinois. That is all of the info. that I have thus far...I think that he served in the military during the Civil war and that was how he arrived in IL., and would explain his premature death at only aprox. 30 yrs old, leaving his widowed wife and 5 children, all of whom were born in and resided in Woods Valley, Dickson Co., TN.
