I just finished reading this book and it was a very good history of the 16th. The author did a great job at covering the day to day activities of this regiment from TN, through VA, SC and Mississippi.
It was interesting to learn more about the death of one of my relatives, Stephen Tate, who died at Corinth on May 28, 1862. I am looking forward to reading the next two volumns as I had several more relatives in the 16th.
