Thanks Alan...was hoping to find a cousin of my James Monroe Campbell. JM was with the 1st TN Cavalry, CO I. I think I read somewhere that it started as C/E and later became I. So hard to keep up with the changes they made. Andrew J Campbell was reported as being killed in the CW but so far haven't located him. Figured he might have enlisted in a unit close to home.
