I have searched everywhere for information about John Ausmus Sr. He was my great (x3) grandfather and after his death ( presumably from gastritis) I have no further record of him. I even contacted the US Sanitory Commission in hopes of locating at least a clue as to where he might be buried. No luck there either. His brother, William Ausmus (Capt. Bill) is buried in the Ausmus Family cemetery in Speedwell as are his parwnts. Would love any info!
